The Mission of BASTROP COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE, BCATX.org, is to provide an updated listing of Medical and Human Resources for the Community of Bastrop to help meet the needs of the Bastrop Community expanding to other areas of communicative services, in partnership with community supporters, administered by students who are mentored by BISD staff and Community Volunteers.

In fulfilling this project Mission, the Bastrop Community will benefit, and students will be educated and trained in serving the community using technical and telecommunication skills.
At the present time the non-profit supporting this project is Motion for Life.org in partnership with Bastrop Home Schoolers. We are looking for a new sponsor and new workers. Please contact us if you are interested in maintaining and providing this website to the community.
Community adviser and visionary is Mrs. Sue Long with Opportunity Bastrop County and Nicole Bower has been instrumental in the planning.

There are many staff members at BISD supporting in various ways, including Barbara Wolanski who directed her classes in researching information in accordance with the school curriculum spring 2012.
